The “6D ISOTONIC SPORTS DRINK” has a 2:1 glucose:fructose ratio, which allows the body to use up to 90 g of carbohydrates per hour during exercise, while drinks without this 2:1 ratio are limited to only 60-70 g per hour. Moreover, this 2:1 ratio stimulates the absorption of water during exercise. Thanks to its high salt concentration (900 mg sodium per litre), the “6D ISOTONIC SPORTS DRINK” also restores the salt reserves in the body. This is particularly important for athletes who not only sweat a lot, but also sweat out lots of salts, and especially during exercise in a hot environment that causes a high sweat losses. Despite the high level of electrolytes, the “6D ISOTONIC SPORTS DRINK” is still perfectly isotonic, which ensures the optimal absorption of both water and energy (sugars) simultaneously. Thanks to the neutral pH (~7.0), this drink is extremely suitable for endurance athletes because it is not “aggressive” on the stomach. In fact, no acids are added to the drink. Moreover, a pH lower than 5.5 dissolves tooth enamel. Given that sports drinks are usually consumed sip by sip, their residues often remain in the oral cavity for a considerable time, making dental erosion a common problem for endurance athletes. Finally, the use of allergens and artificial additives is limited as much as possible so that most athletes can safely use the “6D ISOTONIC SPORTS DRINK”.
