- General terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions apply to all online transactions with Optimize Triathlon NV. Please read them carefully before placing an order. All agreements are subjected to and interpreted in accordance with Belgian law. Furthermore, all disputes are settled exclusively by Belgian courts. Nothing in these general terms and conditions shall be deemed to affect your legal rights.
By using this website, you agree with these general terms and conditions. All transactions with Optimize Triathlon NVare subjected to these general terms and conditions.
‘The company’, ‘we’ or ‘us/our’ always refers to Optimize Triathlon NV. ‘The customer’ always refers to the person or people who buy goods from the company or agree to buy goods. Any referral to the website implies a referral to all URLs owned by Optimize Triathlon NV.
All prices are in euro. They are inclusive of VAT according to the applicable rate, unless clearly specified otherwise. All prices can be modified without prior notification.
To purchase a product you must first add the product to your shopping basket. When you have added the desired products to your shopping basket, you can enter your contact and invoicing data. You must then provide the necessary data for the payment of the products. When we have received all this data, you will receive an overview page. If you accept it, your purchase is final. The purchase agreement can be reached in the language of the website in which you make the purchase.
We accept orders through online transactions (secure server). All credit and debit card transactions are subjected to validation checks and the card issuer's approval. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Bancontact/Mister Cash, KBC Online/CBC Online, ING Homepay, Dexia Direct Net, iDEAL and PayPal. If your card issuer refuses to accept your payment to us, we cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery and/or non-delivery of your order. Orders without valid payment registered in the name of the registered card holder are not accepted or processed.
Note: minors (under 18) may only make purchases with the consent of their parents or guardian.
Ordered products are delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested method of delivery. All delivery costs are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure that you receive your order within the estimated delivery period. The maximum delivery period amounts to 30 days, starting from the day after your order. All goods are delivered subject to availability. Promotions always run during the indicated period or while stocks last. If we are unable to deliver your goods within 30 days, we will notify you immediately and inform you of the expected delivery date. If we are unable to deliver the goods within 30 days, you may cancel the undelivered orders/products at any time after you were notified of the late delivery. If payment has already been made, you will receive a full refund of the item or items in question. If the goods delivered by us were damaged during transport, do not correspond with the items listed on the delivery note or do not correspond with the items you ordered, you must notify us and return the items within 14 calendar days of receipt. If we do not receive such notice, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential damages due to late delivery or non-delivery by the transport company appointed by the company. In such cases our liability is limited to the value of the items of which it is proven the customer did not receive them.
- Return and exchange of items
We want you to be fully satisfied with every purchase at Optimize Triathlon NVand aim to provide you with excellent quality, value for money and a great service at all times. If you wish to return an item to exchange it, or if you have decided not to keep it, please fill out the return note you received with your delivery and return it to us within 14 calendar days, together with the products in their original packaging and with the label. If appropriate, we will exchange the item(s) or refund the cost price. All goods must be returned in new and unused condition, together with a copy of your original delivery bill.
If you wish to return an item because it is damaged, please fill out the details on the return note with a description of the damage and return it to us within 14 calendar days together with the article in its original packaging. If appropriate, we will exchange the item or refund the full cost price, including all delivery costs incurred. The customer is responsible for the shipment of the goods.
All products are covered by a warranty against defects resulting from manufacturing or material defects. The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of the initial invoice (unless otherwise specified). Defects caused by accidents, negligence or incorrect use, are not covered by the warranty.
If you received a damaged product, please notify us first. You can contact us via email@example.com. . We will see how we can solve this and ask you to return the article. In this case the return costs will be reimbursed (according to standard postal rates). Send the damaged product, together with the return note and a description of the damage, with sufficient postage to our return address. Also add your account number so that we can reimburse you.

Please also clearly indicate what is wrong with the purchased product, or indicate where something is wrong. All items should be returned to us in a clean and orderly condition, so that we can help you as soon as possible.
All products are sold on their own unless otherwise stated, and are not always available at every point of sale. We make every effort to ensure that the colours on the website correspond as closely as possible to those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations certain colours may differ.
- Regulation regarding distance selling
In accordance with the regulations on distance selling, you have the right to cancel any order you placed via the website with a view to reimbursement, within 14 calendar days from the day after the delivery date, provided that the goods are unused. This does not apply to perishable goods, unsealed software or items that were customised or made according to your instructions.
To cancel an item, you can send us an e-mail message to firstname.lastname@example.org which you specify your client number and the number of the order. You must take reasonable care of the items and keep all original packaging, and you must not use the items. The items must be returned within 14 calendar days after you sent us your cancellation notice. They can be returned to our customer service (see contact data). All articles are returned at your expense. When it concerns damaged or incorrect items, we shall reimburse the costs on receipt of the items. If we receive the items in unused condition and in their original packaging with all the accessories, you will receive the reimbursement within 30 days of your cancellation notice.
- Force majeure
We are not responsible for the non-observance of our obligations if this is due to or caused by labour disputes or any other circumstances beyond the company's reasonable control, such as cases of force majeure, riot and unrest, flooding, fire, strike, lockout, difficulty finding transport and the enactment of laws. If due to such circumstances it becomes impossible for the company to deliver all or part of the ordered items within a reasonable period of time, the customer's liability shall be limited to the value of the already delivered items, plus any associated delivery costs.
Any information included on our website(s) or which can be read on any printed company material will not be considered binding or recognised as best practice. It only needs to be considered as useful additional advice in addition to other recognised practice guidelines. All information on our website is regularly updated.
- Prices and printing errors
We check the prices and specifications to the best of our abilities. Although we make every effort to ensure they are correct, we do not accept any responsibility for mistakes and omissions. We reserve the right to change our prices and specifications without prior notification.
- Ownership of goods
All items delivered to the customer remain the property of OptimizeTriathlon NVuntil we have received payment of all owed amounts for the items in question.
- Inquiries or complaints
All questions, complaints or comments can be sent to our customer service via email@example.com. We make every effort to handle your complaint within 5 working days upon receipt. If we are unable to solve your complaint immediately, we will notify the presumable period to you. We will keep you informed of any investigation.
You can also notify any complaints and disputes via the European ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) Platform. The website of the ODR is http://ec.europe.eu/odr.
We make every effort to protect the security of the users of our online order service. We use SSL-technology (secure socket layer) to protect your data during all sales transactions. All the information you provide is fully encrypted to ensure that third parties are unable to read it. - Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the agreement within a period of 14 days without giving any reasons. The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you or an appointed third party other than the carrier acquire physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal you must notify usOptimize Triathlon NV, Kapellensteenweg 259, 2920 Kalmthout, +32 3 315 04 84, firstname.lastname@example.org an unequivocal statement (e.g. in writing by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. You can use the attached model withdrawal form, but are not obliged to do so.
To comply with the withdrawal period, you must send your notice of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of the withdrawal
If you withdraw from the agreement, all payments you made up to that point will be reimbursed, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and in any event no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. We will reimburse you using the same payment instrument as you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agreed otherwise; no costs shall be charged for such reimbursement in any case.
We may wait with a reimbursement until we have received the goods, or you have shown that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately, but in any case no later than 14 days after the day on which you notified us of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. You are on time if you return the goods before the 14-day period has expired.
